Getting to our villas is easier than you think
FROM BALI
The easiest way to reach our villas from Bali is by taking a fast boat to Gili Air.
If you are staying in Ubud, Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, or another area of Bali, you can arrange a transfer, taxi or Grab to one of the main ports: Padang Bai, Serangan and Sanur.
-Padang Bai is generally the most popular option and usually offers a shorter crossing to the Gili Islands.
-Serangan can be a convenient alternative, particularly depending on where you are staying in Bali.
-Sanur also offers services to the Gili Islands, although some routes may include a stop at Nusa Islands before continuing to the Gilis.
The best port for you will depend on where you are staying, your travel date and the boat schedule. If you’re not sure which option to choose, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
There are several fast boat companies operating between Bali and the Gili Islands. We particularly recommend EkaJaya and D’Camel, especially for families travelling with children, as they operate larger boats that we find more comfortable for the journey.
Please note that many boats from Bali make a stop at Gili Trawangan (Gili T) before continuing to Gili Air. Don’t worry if Gili T is shown as the first stop on your booking — Gili Air is usually the next stop.
Once you arrive on Gili Air, the port is just a short walk from our villas.
Travel time: approximately 4–6 hours (2h 30min-3h 30min by boat), depending on your starting point, transfer and boat schedule.
You can book your boat tickets directly through the boat companies’ websites, or use 12Go app, where you can compare different options and, in some cases, book a complete journey including a private car or shared transfer to the port and the boat to the Gili Islands.

Getting to Gili Air from Lombok is quick and easy.
If you are arriving at Lombok International Airport, you can take a taxi or private transfer to Bangsal Harbour. Grab is not available in all areas of Lombok, so a private driver can be a convenient option. From Bangsal, regular public boats and fast boats connect Lombok with Gili Air.
The boat journey from Bangsal to Gili Air is very short, usually around 15–30 minutes, depending on the type of boat and sea conditions.
Once you arrive at Gili Air, our villas are only a short distance from the harbour.
Travel time from Lombok Airport: approximately 2–3 hours in total.
WHANT TO MAKE IT EASIER?
We work with trusted local drivers who can take you from your accommodation or Lombok International Airport to Bangsal Harbour.
If you prefer to travel privately, or if you arrive outside the usual fast boat and public boat operating hours, we can also arrange a private boat from Lombok to Gili Air. This can be a convenient option, especially for late arrivals, including at night. Alternatively, we can help you arrange your fast boat tickets in advance.
If you choose the public boat, we’ll be happy to guide you and help you organise it on arrival, as tickets are purchased directly at the port.
Just let us know where you are staying in Lombok and your travel date, and we’ll be happy to arrange the journey for you.
